Rest In Peace: Singer Leah Labelle & Hubby Rasual Butler Killed

By on January 31, 2018

We are saddened to learn that Ex NBA player Rasual Butler and his wife, singer Leah LaBelle, were killed in a car accident in Studio City, Calif. early this morning. Butler reportedly lost control of his Range Rover at 2 a.m. and flipped the car after hitting a parking meter and slamming into a wall.

Officers believe he was speeding before the accident.

Butler, 38, played 14 seasons in the NBA with nine different teams. He was drafted by the Miami Heat in 2002 where he spent his first three seasons and last played for the San Antonio Spurs in the 2015-16 season. He also played in Ice Cube’s BIG3 league last year.

LaBelle was an R&B singer signed to Epic Records who was produced by Pharell. You may remember her as a contestant on the third season of “American Idol” in 2004.

Our thoughts are with their families and fans.
